The International Kurash Association schedule includes many tournaments and championships on the Pan American continent.
The Pan American Kurash Union traditionally started the season with seminars.
In January and February, Kurash refereeing and coaching seminars were organized in Chile, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic.
National championships and International tournaments are scheduled to be held in March and April.
The inaugural tournament, the Kurash Mexico Open, was successfully organized in Mexico City, Mexico.
Another important aspect of the tournament is that the winners and runners-up of the Mexico tournament will earn important ranking points for the World Series Pro International tournament.
Such ranking tournaments will be held in Brazil on May 3-4 in Motozinhos, and in the Dominican Republic on July 2-8 in Santo Domingo at the International tournament and continental championships.
In the last days of March, the Nicaraguan National Beach Kurash Championship was held for the first time on the shores of Nicaragua’s Lake Granada.
Lake Granada is one of the favorite destinations not only of the country, but also of tourists from neighboring countries.
Organization of the championship on these beaches also contributes to popularization of Kurash among local and foreign tourists.
