Social project.

Kurash activists on social networks.

My name is Sediqullah Nemat. I was born in Kunduz province of Afghanistan. I live here. I graduated from high school and have been in Kurash for almost 30 years.
Native Afghan men are natural Kurash athletes. Because time, and space forced it.
A nation where thousands of people gather every week and enjoy the skills of Kurash athletes in the ring. A nation where thousands of people are cheering because a Kurash athlete has performed a beautiful trick. Afghan people are a people who mix their sorrows and joys in Kurash competitions.
Everyone looks forward to the Kurash every week. Brave people who will make the strong Kurash athlete happy even if they pay for him to stay with him.
I think strong Kurash athletes will come from this nation.
This is how my youth passed. I dreamed even when I was a small child. One day my name will be heard in such circles. Let my compatriots be proud of me, carry me on their shoulders and celebrate the victory together.
I am thankful to God that these days are over in my destiny.
I started Kurash and Sambo since I was young due to the support of my teachers and my family.
Kurash helped to strengthen my will. He taught me not to be afraid of difficulties and not to shy away from hard work.
At first, I won small prizes in Kurash competitions. Years later, I wrote my name in the National Championships. Then conquered International levels.
In December 2012, the Asian Senior Kurash Championship was held in Kerala, India. I was included in the team that will defend the honor of my country.
It was a blessing and honor for me. Only a little bit of luck was lacking in the final match. I won a silver medal.
After that, I took part in many International tournaments and championships and won the title. This includes the Asian Games and the World Championships.
At the moment, I work as a coach for the Kurash team of Kunduz region. I am teaching my knowledge and experience to young Kurash athletes. I teach my students that the harder it is in training, the easier it will be in the competition.
I would like to answer your question about social networks as follows.
I made a lot of friends in Kurash. All my achievements and friends in my life are from Kurash.
That’s why I use social networks to communicate with them.
In another aspect, I think that social networks are very necessary to stay informed about the activities, news and competitions in my favorite sport.
All social networks are open in Afghanistan. Easy to use.
We promote Kurash in Facebook and WhatsApp groups. We show our students beautiful Kurash techniques. I can even say that it has become our way of life.
Our goal is huge. I am trying hard to technically support Kurash at the regional and national level. I am currently a 2-star IKA Referee. With the support of the International Kurash Association, I am participating as an official referee in the World Championships and Asian Games.
For this, I express my gratitude to IKA President Mr. Haider Farman, IKA General Secretary Reza Nassiri and IKA Technical Director Ravi Kapoor.
My dream: I look forward to the participation of our national team in the official Kurash competition at the Olympic Games in the future.
