Nonsi Games are traditionally held among the students of the University of the Kingdom of Thailand.
These games, held from January 27 to February 5, were hosted by Katserat University of Chonburi region.
Kurash sport was officially included in the program of the games organized for the 49th time in its history.
The kurash match was held on February 4 at Kampheangsan Campus of Katserat University.
About 150 kurash athletes from 9 universities of the country took part in it.
At the official opening ceremony of the competition, the President of the Thailand Kurash Association, Pulsak Satjathamnukul, and the leaders of the Nonsi Games organizing committee spoke.
They acknowledged that their participation in the Nonsi Games was one of the important steps in their lives and wished the kurash athletes good luck.
About 20 of the most experienced referees of the Thailand Kurash Association managed the kurash matches.
At the end of the heated debates, the names of the winners were determined.
According to him, Mahamakut Buddhist University, Khon Kaen University, Suan Sunandha University and Thailand National Sports University won overall.
The winning teams were presented with medals, diplomas and money prizes established by the country’s government and the organizing committee.
