In 2023, all international tournaments held for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan prize were held as a World Series Pro tournament based on a single system.
The World Series Pro (WSP) tournament was organized throughout the year on all continents of the world.
On the last day of the continental championships, the most talented kurash athletes in the WSP weight categories were selected for medals and ranking points.
56 kurash athletes who took 1-2 places in their continent in 7 weight categories competed in the final matches in November.
The winners of the final competitions hosted by the country of kurash were awarded with valuable prize money.
The tournament will continue this year. However, there has been a slight change in the procedure.
All continental championship participants can now participate in the WSP tournament.
In order to do that, they should participate in the continental championship and get the specified rating points.
According to the IKA schedule, in 2024 the European Championship will be held in May in Istanbul, Turkey, the Asian Championship in June in Bukhara, Uzbekistan, and the African Championship in July in Mbabane, Swaziland. The Pan American Championship is scheduled to be held in October.
Athletes who have won the specified WSP rating in these continental championships can participate in the final round of the World Series Pro international tournament, which will be held in Tashkent on October 18-19.
The International Kurash Association plans to organize a seminar to provide detailed information on this rating system. The seminar will be held online on May 11, 2024.
