The President of the Republic of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdymukhamedov, signed the relevant decree on awarding the winners and coaches of the 14th World Senior Kurash Championship.
According to the decree, 5 gold medal World Championship winners were awarded Toyota Fortuner, 2 coaches of the national team were awarded Toyota Camry, silver and bronze medal winners were awarded cash prizes.
Yesterday, the awarding ceremony was held in the central exhibition hall of Ashgabat.
The President of the International Kurash Association Haider Farman, Secretary General of IKA Reza Nassiri, Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Ministers, Representatives of the state and the public, Ambassadors of foreign countries, Representatives of the diplomatic corps and mass media took part in it.
The greeting of the country leader to the athletes was read and the World Kurash Championship heroes received their gifts.
