On November 22, the final competitions of the World Series Pro international tournament for the prize of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be held in the magnificent “Alpomish” sports palace in Tashkent.
This tournament is organized under the supervision of the International Kurash Association at the initiative of the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan Kurash Federation and National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan.
About 80 representatives from 28 countries of the world are participating in the tournament.
The prize fund of the tournament is 120 thousand US dollars.
This morning, the President of the International Kurash Association Haider Farman arrived the homeland of Kurash.
IKA President was met by Head of the IKA Administration Mansur Mirzaev and Rector of the International Kurash Institute Habibulla Tadjiev at the International Airport named after Islam Karimov.
Meetings with officials of the government and sports organizations of Uzbekistan and press conferences with the participation of mass media are planned during Mr. Farman’s visit.
