On 1st Nov-2023, the IKA International Training Camp will move from Bojnourd to the Holy City of Mashad Shrine of Imam Reza which more than 12 Million pilgrims visit each year. In August 2023 after some conflict between the Head of Sport department of North Khorasan Province, the camp was taken away. However to keep the camp in Iran IKA and the Iran Kurash Association came to an agreement to move the camp to the neighboring Province, where many International Airlines like Emirates, Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways, Fly Dubai … and access is much easier than before.
Mr.Kourosah Khosrowyar KCAO Technical Director made its first official inspection of the International Kurash Training Center as the representative. During the meeting with Dr Taj Firouzeh and the initial MOU was planned that the Sports Complex which is located at 420 Hector of Samenol Aemeh of Mashad comprises of the Main Hall with 5 GILAMS, 800 Seating areas two training hall of 600 sqm which has weight training facilities, swimming pool, changing room, showers etc..
It also has a 90 BED dormitory in the same complex which could be used for future training camps, also there is access to a competition hall with the capacity of 6000 seating. Iran Kurash Association wishes to increase its ties with facilities that they have with the IKI, International Kurash Institute for future plans in 2024.
