A general assambly of the Tajikistan Kurash Federation was held yesterday. Members of the federation, the National Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Sports, coaches, and athletes took part in it.
At the meeting, the report of the President of the Federation Nasir Bozorov on his activities during the past period was heard.
In fact, there has been a positive change in Tajikistan Kurash Federation’s activities in recent years. Athletes from Tajikistan have been actively participating in international competitions.The Asian Kurash Championship among adults was also organized at a high level. On March 17-21, 2022.
KHAIRANDESHI Murodzoda, who participated in 66 kg weight category at the 19th Summer Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, won a bronze medal.
Nasir Bozorov was thanked for his contribution to his achievements.
At the assambly, further popularization of Kurash in the country, regular organization of national championships, establishment of regional federations, and other important tasks for the Tajikistan Kurash federation were discussed as well as the organizational issues.
According to the recommendation of the official sports organizations of the country, the delegates elected Zukhursha Nurmukhammadzoda as a President of the Tajikistan Kurash Federation.
Zukhursha Nurmukhammadzoda who was born in 1982 known as master of sports in Kurash, sambo, and other international martial arts.
