South African Kurash Federation is one of the Kurash Centres of the African Kurash Union.
Many continental championships, international tournaments and seminars for Kurash coaches and referees have been organized by the initiative of this federation.
The activity of the federation was analysed and report was given on the work done during the board meeting of the South African Kurash Federation which was held yesterday,
At the end of the conference, there were elections for the Federation’s 4 years administration.
Bill Barnard, who has extensive experience in international relations and sports, was elected as a President of the Federation, Marcial Schroeder as a Vice President and Melissa Barnard as a General Secretary.
Besides, leaders of education, refereeing, treasury and sports committees were elected during the meeting.
The President of the African Kurash Union, Thomas Dunker, also attended in the meeting. IKA wishes best of luck to the newly elected team
