On November 23-28, the city of Ashgabat, Turkmenistan will host another historic Kurash festival.
A lot of preparations are being made these days for the World Senior Kurash Championship, which is expected to be attended by representatives from about 70 countries of the world.
Based on the decision of the President of the Republic of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdymukhamedov, an organizational committee was established at the level of the government. The program for organizing and conducting the competition at the highest level was accepted by the organizing committee.
As reported by the organizing committee, 15 complete sets of medals for the winners and prize-winners of the World Championship have been prepared.
The official logo of the championship is displayed on the front of the gold, silver, and bronze medals. On the back of the medals, the logo of the International Kurash Association and the words “XIV World Kurash Championship” have been placed.
