On September 6 – World Kurash Day. This year, this Jubilee anniversary was organized for the 25th time.
Events dedicated to the World Kurash Day were widely celebrated in almost 100 countries around the world. There were Kurash competitions, demonstrations and flash mobs reflecting a unique festive mood.
Another similar event on a large scale was held in the capital of the Motherland Kurash.
The festive event initiated by the Kurash Federation of the city of Tashkent was organized in the form of national songs, folk games “Dorbozlik” and, of course, Kurash competitions.
Those gathered in the national park “Navruz”, reflecting the original history and modernity of the capital, witnessed the atmosphere of a wonderful holiday Kurash.
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Youth Policy and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shakhrullo Mahmudov, Secretary General of the International Kurash Association Muhammad Reza Nassiri, Head of the administration of the International Kurash Association Mansur Mirzaev and officials of the Kurash Federation of Uzbekistan, the Prosecutor’s Office of Tashkent and the Khokimiyat of Tashkent.
The Kurash competitions, organized in the form of the prosecutor’s cup of the Shaikhontokhur district, gave the audience a real festive mood at the end all winners were given medals, certificates and prize
