Boca Chica Beach is the most popular destination for tourists in the Dominican Republic. This area hosted the Pan American Beach Kurash Championship, which was part of the Pan American Kurash Week.
The coast of Boca Chika became a perfect setting for experienced athletes to present their amazing talents.
Representatives from Chile, Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, USA, Haiti, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and many other national federations took part in the championship.
Daniela Delgado from Costa Rica defeated Ivrose Timeris from Haiti the women’s absolute category in the final.
The bronze medal went to Morban from the Dominican Republic
Andrea Gullen won the championship in the 70 kg category.
Lincoln Hahn from the United States won the gold medal in the men’s heavyweight category. Gabriel Vizcaino from the Dominican Republic was awarded silver, and Nicaraguan Mauricio Martinez and Brazilian Rafael Caldeira took home bronze medals.
Therefore, the week-long Pan American Kurash Week has come to an end.
