Today, in Paris, the city of dreams, the best athletes of the world will compete for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan prize.
More than 30 athletes representing around 20 countries of the world will compete in the absolute weight category on the gilam at the traditional tournament organized in cooperation with the International Kurash Association, the European Kurash Confederation, Uzbekistan and French Kurash Federations.
According to the competition program, a technical meeting, a draw ceremony, and a press conference were held today in the first half of the day.
IKA Vice-President, President of European Kurash Confederation Mirabi Iliades, Head of IKA Administration Mansur Mirzaev, officials of European Kurash Confederation, French and Uzbekistan Kurash Federations, coaches, and referees took part in it.
Kurash competitions will take place this afternoon at the EMILE ANTHOINE sports complex, which is close to the Eiffel Tower, the symbol of France.
We would like to remind you that the prize fund of the tournament is $15,000 USD.
