Another important aspect of the university is that the Vice-President of the International Kurash Association, Chairman of the Board of the National Media Association of Uzbekistan, Sherzodkhon Kudratkhoja, heads this educational university.

IKA President Haider Farman visited to attend the significant event held on this day.
Mr. Farman was accompanied by IKA Vice-President Ziyoviddin Khodjiniyazov, IKA General Secretary Muhammad Reza Nassiri, Head of IKA Administration Mansur Mirzaev and Rector of International Kurash Institute Khabibulla Tadjiev.
In fact, over 3,500 young journalists are currently studying in the fields of television, radio, the internet, PR, and the press at the university, which at its inception had more than 100 students.
