Competitions in 7 weight categories are taking place on the next day of the 12th Asian Senior Kurash Championship.
Xioshan Linpu Gymnasium today will determine the winners of men’s -60, -73, -100 kg, women’s -48, 52, -78, -87 kg weight categories.
More than 30 international level judges and participants of the International Kurash Referee Exam are evaluating the uncompromising competitions between about 100 kurash athletes.
Another important aspect of the championship is that the current World and Asian champions, participants of the Olympic and Asian Games, and world champions of other martial arts participated in the competition.
This will serve to increase the level of the championship and make our beloved Kurash even more popular.
