After the official Opening Ceremony of the 12th Asian Senior Kurash Championship, the new heroes of the continent will be announced.
Under the applause of thousands of spectators, the members of the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee (HAGOC), the country’s sports administration, government officials, members of the parliament, the leaders of the International Kurash Association, the Asian Kurash Confederation were invited to the stage.
The ceremonial opening ceremony was opened by Liu Chengliang, Deputy Head of the Sports Administration of China, Member of the Organizing Committee of the 19th Asian Games, Head of Kurash, Jiu-Jitsu, Judo Center, President of the Kurash Confederation of Asia-Oceania, Komil Ruziev.
The speech of Haider Farman, President of the International Kurash Association, General Director of the Asian Games of the Olympic Council of Asia, was delivered by the General Secretary of the International Kurash Association, Technical Director Mohammad Reza Nassiri.
Based on the principle of international competitions, the oath of judges and athletes on fair and honest conduct of the competition was accepted.
International Kurash Association Referee Director Ravi Kapoor took the oath of referees.
After that, under the sound of the national anthem of the People’s Republic of China, the 12th Asian Senior Kurash Championship was officially declared open by Jiang Youngzhu Deputy Governor Hangzhou Linpu city.
