Hangzhou’s Xioshan Linpu Gymnasium has started the Asian Senior Kurash Championship.
On the first day of the competition, there are 8 weight categories.
More than 80 Kurash athletes from 19 countries are competing in the next weight categories of men, -66 kg, -81 kg, -90 kg, +100 kg, women -57 kg, -63 kg, -70 kg, +87 kg.
More than 30 international class referees of the International Kurash Association manage the competition. They are assisted by about 40 international referee exam participants and national-level referees of the Chinese Kurash Association.
50 television and radio channels, news agencies and Internet publications of the People’s Republic of China actively cover the matches of the Asian Senior Kurash Championship.
Live broadcasts were also organized by CCTV and national sports channels.
