Today, the 12th Asian Kurash Championship among adults, the international workshop of kurash coaches and referees began.
Almost all the Kurash federations of the participating countries have arrived for the big kurash festival hosted by the Chinese city of Hangzhou.
Today, April 26, an international workshop of kurash referees and coaches started according to the championship program.
Initially, the Conference was organized with the participation of Haider Farman, President of the International Kurash Association, Director General of the Asian Games of the Asian Olympic Council. The leaders of the organizing committee of the 19th Asian Games, the mayor of Hangzhou Linpu, IKA officials, and representatives of national federations took part in the conference.
The meeting was chaired by the president of the association Haider Farman.
Mr. Farman expressed his gratitude to Mr. Wang Xin, Mayor of Hangzhou Linpu, for his great help and support in organizing the prestigious Kurash events.
He specially acknowledged that the work carried out by the organizing committee is at the level of international sports requirements, holding the Asian Games.
Addressing the participants at the meeting, he informed that the most important people in determining the prestige of each sport are coaches and referees, and it is thanks to their work that the sport can rise.
He expressed confidence that the ongoing kurash events, seminars, championships and tournaments will be held at a high level. At the meeting, the leaders of the organizing committee expressed their sincere gratitude to the IKA President for his confidence in holding major kurash competitions before the continental Olympics.
He informed that the organizing committee will make every effort to hold a real Kurash holiday.
