The International seminars of Kurash Referees and Coaches began its work on the opening day of the XII Asian Senior Kurash Championship hosted by the Chinese city of Hangzhou.
In the first half of the day, the theoretical part of the seminar was held in the conference hall of the Easunfor theme hotel.
During the Opening ceremony the mayor of Lingpu welcomed all and said that it’s the first time Kurash is making an event here in our city, however we are not strangers to sport and held the World Table Tennis championships in the same sport complex. The coaches and referees participated in separate groups.
In the afternoon, the Xioshan Linpu Gymnasium hosted the practical processes of the participants.
Xioshan Linpu Gymnasium is the official sports complex of the 19th Asian Summer Games. During the games, kurash, judo and jiujitsu competitions will be held in this sports complex.
More than 80 experts are participating in the seminar of international Kurash coaches and referees.
According to International Kurash Association decission, starting from this year, the coaches of the national teams of all national federations must have a minimum international coaching certificate of category B.
The coaching seminar is conducted by experienced experts of the International Kurash Institute. They provide practical and theoretical information through the “IKA E Kurash” platform, which includes methods and techniques of Kurash.
The refereeing seminar is conducted by experts of the International Kurash Association and the Referee’s Commission of the Asian Kurash Confederations.
At the next stages of the seminar, participants can directly participate in the competition for exam. Each of their performances and actions is evaluated by examinees.
On the eve of the end of the championship, participants who have obtained high marks in the referee and coaching exams will be awarded with certificates and licenses of the international level.
