The World Anti-Doping Agency is the world’s largest sports and medical association. About 600 international sports federations and national anti-doping agencies are members of this sports organization. WADA was established 23 years ago on November 10, 1999.
On March 14th-15th, WADA’s annual symposium is being held in Lausanne, Switzerland.
IKA Vice-President Ziyovuddin Khodjiniyazov and IKA Medical-Anti-Doping Committee Chairman Joohee Park are participating in the symposium.
About a thousand delegates are taking part in the symposium, divided into plenary sessions and sessions under the slogan “We will unite towards a world of sports without doping”.
Today, the official opening ceremony of the conference including six sessions on different topics were held.
The sessions are organized in a hybrid manner and are simultaneously broadcast live online around the world.
