Yesterday, on February 14th, the opening ceremony of the newly introduced kurash specialty training course by the International Kurash Institute was held at the State University of Physical Education and Sports of Uzbekistan.
Officials of the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports of Uzbekistan, the State University of Physical Education and Sports of Uzbekistan, the International Kurash Association, the International Kurash Institute, professors and teachers, students of the preparatory course, and media representatives took part in it.
According to the International Kurash Institute,the main goal of organizing this training course is to ensure the implementation of the tasks specified in the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-4881 dated November 4, 2020, as well as to train highly knowledgeable and experienced kurash coaches, referees, kurash instructors, talented young people in the field, to recruit and provide experienced specialists for foreign kurash federations.
This training course was approved at the meeting of the Directors Committee of the International Kurash Association that held in Dubai, UAE on January 10-11th this year.
A 3-month free training course organized on the basis of a special educational program was developed by IKI experts. Educational processes will be conducted by experienced professors. It is noteworthy that special attention is paid to intensive teaching of foreign languages to students.
The 30 most talented graduate students of Uzbekistan State University of Physical Education and Sports, Tashkent Region Pedagogical Institute and other universities were selected for the courses.
