On February 6, 2022, a 7.5-magnitude earthquake occurred in Turkey, causing major losses in several cities of the country. Thousands of families were left homeless. Many people were injured. More than a thousand people died.
We regret that this tragedy did not spare Yusuf Yildirim, a member of the International Kurash Association and DC member, our long-time friend.
Mr. Yildirim lost his loved ones due to the damage caused by the earthquake.
On behalf of the International Kurash Association and the Worldwide Kurash family, we express our condolences to Mr. Yusuf Yildirim and our Turkish friends.
May the departed rest in heaven. We pray that the troubles will be removed and our lives will be full of good days. We are together, our pain and suffering are the same.
