The XIII World Senior Kurash Championship has just ended.
Exciting and uncompromising competitions. A real celebration of kurash was held between the strongest athletes in the world.
And only one person will win. However, of course, it was not easy to reach this level.
Many years of training, regular training, experience and, of course, luck.
This is the work of the winners, who wear a gold medal on their chest and raise their flags high, stand proudly and listen to the national anthem.
Today they are the unequal champions on the planet. They are world heroes, they are world champions.
On the last day of the championship, held in the city of Pune, women competed in the weight categories of 48 kg, 52 kg, and men -100 kg, +100 kg.
In terms of the number of medals, the experiment has had its say. There were no equals to the homeland of kurash.
In total, Uzbek athletes took first place with 7 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze medals.
The second place was taken by the Iranian national team. They return to their homeland with 6 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze medals.
Korean athletes took 3rd place: 1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals.
Also, 11 other countries also won medals.
