These days, the World Nomad Games are being held in the Turkish city of Iznik.
Representatives of more than 100 countries of the world take part in this prestigious celebration of sports and national art, which is held for the 4th time.
The official opening ceremony of the Games took place yesterday.
About 1,000 participants demonstrated culture and sports at events organized on a very large preparatory basis.
The opening ceremony was attended by President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadir Dzhaparov and numerous ministers of state sports, representatives of international sports organizations.
Kurash competitions will be held today, which is included in the program of the Games.
More than 50 athletes from 14 countries, such as Turkey, Afghanistan, Romania, Mongolia, Greece, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Iran, Georgia, Italy, Malta will compete in it.
The competitions are led by a group of referees of the International Kurash Association. They are also assisted by international-class Turkish referees.
At the moment, preparations are underway for the competition.
