Nguyen Tuan Hoc–IKA Referee (Vietnam)
I am 35 years old, I have been working as a coach of the National team of the Kurash Federation of Vietnam.
I came to kurash in 2009 as an athlete. After completing my sports career, I started coaching and refereeing. It took about 10 years.
Today I am an IKA international referee of 3 star.
Throughout my career, I have judged many times at the Asian and World Championships and at the Asian Games.
I was recognized by IKA as the “best referee in the world in 2015”.
Today there are about 10 referees of international categories and 40 referees of national categories in our country.
Vietnamese Kurash Federation regularly works to increase the number and improve the quality of referees.
I was glad that the International Kurash Association invited me as an official referee to the World Championship in India. This, of course, is the pride of the Kurash Federation of Vietnam.
This championship organized by IKA is distinguished by its high professional quality. I believe that referees should also correspond and meet this level.
A single mistake of the referee will not only destroy the athlete’s dreams, but also affect the prestige of the championship.
In recent years IKA international arbitration system has emerged as a highly qualified and fair organization.
It should be noted that IKA Technical Director Reza Nassiri is working effectively in this direction. Serious preparatory work is being carried out on refereeing in each competition. This encourages referees to strengthen their self-confidence and constantly work on themselves.
I believe that beautiful kurash competitions and fair judging will be held in India.
