Vietnam’s Central TV channel VTV24 International broadcast a TV show dedicated to kurash.
The program was attended by coaches and athletes from the Vietnam National Kurash Team.
During the program, representatives of the Federation informed about kurash, its development in Vietnam, the competitions held, as well as the achievements of Vietnamese athletes at the Asian Championships, the Southeast Asian Games and international competitions.
Chief coach of the Vietnam national team, Nguyen Tuan Hok, demonstrated kurash techniques for the audience.
It should be noted that in recent years, the Vietnamese Kurash Federation has carried out a large amount of work to further popularize the Kurash in the country. National championships and seminars are regularly organized. The federation’s athletes always try to keep their place in the top 5 on the Asian continent.
For reference, VTV24 is a popular and official TV channel in the country. This channel, which has been operating since 1970, conducts 24-hour broadcasting in English, French, Vietnamese, Arabic. The broadcast coverage is about 700 million viewers on the territory of about 10 states of East Asian countries.
