Indonesian Kurash Federation, National Olympic Committee and Ministry of Sports of Indonesia jointly will hold the first national kurash tournament in Jakarta.
Cash prizes have been established for the winners of this tournament, which will be held on November 18-21.
The winner who took 1st place in all weight categories will receive 5 million rupees, winners who took 2nd place will receive 3 million rupees, athletes who took 3rd place will receive a cash prize of 1 million rupees.
According to the Kurash Federation of Indonesia, such tournaments are planned to be held in the future in all provinces of the country. The prize fund will be increased accordingly. This tournament is important in terms of further popularization of kurash in the country.
