I lost in qualifying for the Children’s of Asia Games. However, with the advice of my coach, I participated in kurash and won the medal. I lost the final today. It hurts a little. It seems that I did not have enough strength to win. But I will continue to do Kurash as its more interesting than all the other martial arts that I did before.

file_Aq7dIIGUtkin Aleksandr Mikhailovich (Primorsky region): I have to thank my teacher and my brother who always helped me. Because of them, I won the Children’s of Asia Games today. The fact that the opponent from Uzbekistan in the final made me a little worried. But because of my confidence and the support of the fans in the hall, I beat him in 30 seconds. Today I am a champion. I presented a gold medal to my country. Thank you Kurash. I will promise to train and hopefully stand on the Medal Podium of World Junior Kurash Championships.

file_JvwD8jsTatyana Gorbunova (Olympic champion, head referee of the competition): I am the head referee of 19 sports in the games. I am a rhythmic gymnast. I know little about martial arts. After watching the kurash matches all day, I came to the conclusion that kurash is the best choice for children’s games. Suitable for children and does not require excessive strain. The chance of getting injured is virtually zero percent. I also carefully observed the cases of referees. I would like to express my gratitude to the International Kurash Association for providing us with great competition and excitement and for helping to organize a high-level competition.

file_vkq5oqxDurdona Tursunova (Uzbekistan): I fulfilled my promise to my father. I can’t describe my excitement to you. My first teacher and the person who brought me to kurash was my father. My father was also engaged in kurash. He is still a kurash coach. The qualifying competition for the Children’s of Asia Games in Vladivostok was held in Termiz, where I live. I made a promise to my father when I became the champion in my weight. I said I would bring you a gold medal from Vladivostok. Today, many of my peers, my brothers and sisters are envious of me and are joining Kurash. I am very happy about it.
