The ancient form of martial arts – prestigious kurash competitions are now regularly organized on five continents of the world.
By the Asian Olympic Council, Kurash has been officially included in the Program of the Children’s, Beach, Indoor and Martial Arts and Summer Asian Games.
All of us are happy that the terms “kurash”, “halol”, “ta’zim”, “to’xta”, and “yonbosh” have taken a strong place in the international sports dictionary as a historical legacy of kurash, which is revered as a symbol of bravery, tolerance, nobility and honesty.
On July 15 of this year, the International Kurash Institute, in cooperation with the International Kurash Association, held an international online seminar for referees of the kurash federations of Southeast Asian countries at the kurash complex of the Uzbekistan State University of Physical Education and Sports. 76 kurash referees from the kurash federations of Southeast Asian countries: China, Japan, Mongolia, South Korea, Chinese Taipei, Macau, Pakistan and more than 10 other countries participated in this seminar online through the ZOOM platform.
