These days, Ravi Kapoor, Technical Director of the International Kurash Association (IKA), is holding a series of working meetings with the Organising Committee and the relevant organisations as part of the preparations for the 20th Asian Games, which will be held in Japan next month.

Today, during a meeting with the technical team responsible for organising the Kurash competition, all key issues related to the technical readiness of the event were reviewed. It was also confirmed that the organisational work required to deliver the competition at the highest standard has been almost fully completed.

During the meeting, the final technical aspects and minor organisational details concerning the conduct of the competition were agreed upon. In addition, the parties discussed the arrangements being made for the competition participants and the International Technical Officials (ITOs).

Another final working meeting between the International Kurash Association and the Organising Committee of the 20th Asian Games is scheduled for tomorrow. During the meeting, the competition venues will undergo a final inspection, and a final review will also be conducted of the accommodation conditions and services provided at the hotel where the International Technical Officials (ITOs) will be staying.
