September is a particularly competitive month for Kurash. During this month National Federations around the world are organising national championships among cadets and juniors at a high level.
In the first days of September, the Thai Kurash Association held the national championship among youth in the province of Sukhothai. The competition became a testing ground for the skills and abilities of more than 300 talented young Kurash athletes.
The Indian Kurash Association also hosted the national youth championship. 669 young Kurash athletes from 24 states of the country competed in the competition held in Raipur.
At the same time, the Kurash Federation of Uzbekistan is holding the national championship among children (U13) in the city of Namangan. 659 young athletes from all over the country are taking to Gilam for victory in the competition.
The International Kurash Association always considers the organisation and support of national championships among cadets, juniors and children as an important task. Initiatives in this regard will primarily serve to ensure a healthy lifestyle for the younger generation, as well as to further popularise Kurash and produce new champions in the future.
