Furthermore, the Organizing Committee also provided information regarding the protocol for medical assistance, rapid emergency transport, and hospitalization in case athletes get injured or need medical assistance.

Within the framework of the meeting, Ravi Kapoor highly appreciated the conditions being created for the Kurash competitions and emphasized that the organizational processes are being carried out according to a precise plan.

Additionally, the IKA Technical Director will participate in a special seminar in Japan for another three days, dedicated to all organizational and technical aspects of the Asian Games.

Competitions in 41 sports for a total of 460 medal sets are scheduled to be held within the framework of the 20th Asian Games Aichi–Nagoya 2026. A total of 53 main competition venues, as well as 73 training facilities, are being prepared for the competitions.

All facilities are fully compliant with international standards, creating comfortable conditions for athletes, coaches, officials, and technical delegates.
Kurash competitions will be held at the Aichi Prefectural Martial Arts Hall sports complex. This arena will also host competitions for Jiu-Jitsu and Wushu during the Games.

A separate training hall for Kurash athletes – the Jimokuji General Gymnasium – has been approved as an independent training center. This allows for preparation under optimal conditions ahead of the competition.
The medal days for the sports in the Asian Games are evenly and fairly distributed. It is strictly controlled that finals are not concentrated on a single day, which creates a convenient sports regime for the Kurash competitions.

The Kurash competitions within the 20th Asian Games are included in the ENG Coverage list, and all media areas such as Flash Mixed Zone, and Mixed Zone are being prepared.
The competitions will be broadcast live in full.

Furthermore, a total of 86,900 security personnel will be involved during the Games, with an additional 1,700 service members mobilized specifically for the opening and closing ceremonies.

The Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games are of historical importance for the sport of Kurash, and all conditions are being created to hold the competitions at a high level.
